BASTIAN

for Twin Rivers Unified School District

About Stacey

In her bid for a full term on the Twin River School Board, Stacey Bastian is running as an incumbent. Upon the passing of her father, a longtime member of the Twin Rivers School Board, she was appointed to complete his term. In addition to having a proven record of public service, Bastian is committed to ensuring students at school are loved and supported.

“My Father taught me well,” Bastian said. “I have strived to make my family and community proud of the work I have done. You have my word, that if entrusted with our children’s education, I will serve them well.”

Stacey has been very involved in local service and community organizations in addition to serving as Vice Chair of the Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Parks District. She was instrumental in saving one of the neighborhood schools, coordinating meetings with parents and voicing opposition from the community. She worked closely with the District, serving on the 7-11 Committee to make decisions on the sale of unused district property to generate income. She has also served on the PTA at Westside Elementary School and volunteered for numerous events at Rio Linda High School.

Her dedication to the community and its children more than qualify her to serve a full term on the Twin Rivers School.
